My Name is Autumn Allinson

I’m proud to serve Wallingford by working together across political lines to get things done and make our town an even better place to live. Wallingford is full of energy — from our thriving local businesses to our rich history and tight-knit community. I’m all about smart, responsible updates and services that keep us moving forward while honoring what makes Wallingford special. My goal? To hand off a town that’s stronger and more vibrant for the next generation.

I believe in embracing different viewpoints and letting people make their own choices — as long as they don’t cause harm or unfairly affect others. And if there’s one thing I hope people remember me for, it’s being a source of positivity, collaboration, and a little lightheartedness — because sharing a laugh helps us keep it together.

My Support

My husband and treasurer, Steven, is a well-known probate attorney here in town, running his Wallingford-based firm for over 15 years. I’m proud to say I’ve converted him into a dedicated cat-lover, as shown by his devoted care for our five cats. Beyond his love for me and our furry family, I admire Steve for his boundless energy and deep commitment to our families, the community, and helping people navigate life’s toughest decisions — especially around cognitive and physical abilities and planning their legacies.

We’re both deeply involved in Wallingford. Alongside my Town Council duties, I serve on the boards of the Wallingford Rotary Club and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater New Haven. Steven serves as an officer in Connecticut’s 2nd Company Governor’s Foot Guard and contributes on the Committee on Aging at the Wallingford Senior Center. He’s also active with the Masons in Wallingford and New Haven, and on the board of the Meriden-Wallingford United Way. Together, we proudly support the Polish National Alliance and the Wallingford Elks.

Every female Allinson has experienced being mistakenly called "Allison." I swapped Steve's and my faces into this meme and made light of it. Hopefully you enjoy being part of this inside joke. ;-)
